Welcome to Parchment Road!
Hopefully, with a less time-restrictive title, I will be using this site for years to come, to document and comment on all those gems in the story of life that catch my eye. I’ve just moved to Turkey to begin a year teaching English, so naturally, the blog will shift focus as well. (Find out about how that came to be here.)
Moving forward, I’m hoping to document my experience teaching English and exploring Turkish (and global) society more broadly. I’m also going to branch out into cultural and creative spheres, and generally, make this blog a little freer and more flexible than its narrowly focussed predecessor.
